with the understanding there are posters who have put forward legitimate concerns and provided back-up to why they feel the way they do. They are NOT part of the "IHateObama" crowd and bring a valid diversity of opinion around those issues of concern.
Edited to add:
DU is in transition, imo, going from it's members having, overall a common "enemy", if you will, that being bush, his administration and the repubs. Now that there is a Democratic Presidency, a Democratic majority in the Senate and in the House, the "common enemy" has been vanquished as far as it is no longer in power. Who or what is now the "common enemy" and how does one differentiate between legitimate concerns about the current government and deliberate attempts to divide the members and suppress support for the current government?
I am just very glad it is not my job to figure that out and I have great sympathy for the Admins who may have to make that delineation.
