Reply #26: Happened already to a social networking group

I belong to a social networking site that is centered around a certain type of craft. On that site are thousands of forums, one of which became the center of the most amazing hate fests. The site itself is not partisan, unlike FR. But, word it, as a result of some of the threats in that forum the owners of that site got paid a visit by the Secret Service. I never personally saw direct threats, but there were thinly-veiled ones. I *did* read one post where the person claimed that Obama had his grandmother offed so he'd get sympathy vote. The forum got banned.

But, there's a new one that's sprung up just like it.

I am amazed at the level of hate being spewed by these DFs. Maybe they should take up knitting ;-)
