48. She was warned
In October of 2008, the Secret Service warned Palin to tone down the incendiary rhetoric.
They were not just worried about the "kill him" (Obama) shouts from the crowd. They were also concerned that the crowds (mobs) were beginning to get out of control.
Attacks and threats of attacks on Obama supporters were becoming increasingly commonplace and racial epithets were beginning to freely fly.
Despite the Secret Service's direct appeal, Palin never saw fit to cut back on her relentless smear and fear campaign.
And now - here we are!
Apparently, encouraging death threats against the President of the United States has become official Republican policy.
