18. Yes, but the problem with McCain picking Palin was not that she was a woman.....
It was that she was the wrong woman with the wrong beliefs for mainstream.

Plus McCain's pick was in reference to a heartbeat away from the Presidency,
not a 2 minute invocation, so it really is not at all the same.

you are trying to force fit something that isn't order to justify being even more negative than before.

Folks were upset about Warren being selected for the Invocation. Perhaps that doesn't change, but they shouldn't be MORE upset in anyway for Bishop Robinson being given a part.

You are incorrect in your analogie and your conclusion, IMO.
