That is not the case on DU and others share that view as the thread clearly reflects. My OP is considered offensive by some and is appreciated by others and there is no dividing line on that.

The basic goal was try to bridge a divide that exists on DU, it is here on DU as this thread clearly reflects. Was my effort perfect? Obviously not. I made mistakes, I'm human and I do that.

The rest of your post is a nice rant but it exceeds the purpose and direction of this thread. I don't recall using the word "tolerance" - I merely asked how DUers could join the GLBT community in protesting Warren's invite. I was looking for someone to take the reigns and lead. I failed. I am grateful for the links that have been provided to me, they have been most helpful. You see, I can post at DU and do things in the RW for all of us.
