38. Not to sound like a goomer here, but isn't that just what
you are doing as well?

It is well established that DU favors GLBT issues and extends itself to the Civil Rights of all Americans.

It is not only the privilege, but also the obligation of many of us here to fight for these Rights, we do it whether we are straight, gay, black, white, asian, AmerIndian or anything else. We do this willingly, without demand for for recognition.

Since I, a straight male feel obligated to fight for the rights of others, I really do expect these individuals to join in a co-ordinated effort to demand these Rights. Many do, but others are "keyboard warriors" and "armchair generals". I spend time handwriting letters to many officials, groups, and others that will help in the advancing of Basic Human rights for all Americans. It is not too much to ask that others do the same.
