Obama says he wants to be "post partisan". He wants to "reach across the aisle" and claims that "not all good ideas come from Democrats".

Well that sounds reasonable on the surface. When it comes to the average American citizen you could probably find common ground and good ideas with many who have voted for Repuke candidates in the past.

But as for Republicans who have actually HELD office in the last 30 years, what GOOD ideas have they had?

Richard Nixon created the EPA and started Earth Day. Otherwise, he was pretty much a fucking bastard who owed his entire career to the Bush Crime Family, but I'll give him credit for those things. But I can't think of any good ideas that have come from a Repuke administration since then. Or Repukes in Congress. And most definitely NOT the traitors in PNAC.

So why reach out to those who have proven themselves incapable of any good ideas for nearly 40 years?
