I could give a fuck if Obama was ugly, effeminate, and crude. I do care that he is intelligent, but what matters to me most is policy. As per the rest of the post, you can cherry pick a few decent appointments but it doesn't mask the reality that the Cabinet is chock full of DLC corporate sellouts, sexists, Monsanto warriors, NCLB heroes, etc.

Please do not marginalize the very justified reaction to all of these things. Obama is a politician, and will choose political expediency over taking a stand every time, unless there is sufficient pressure from the people.
