48. People here can pretend all they care to, much of Europe & Israel thinks us dumb...
today and thought us dumb then for not being able to see the world as a unified system. Marc Rich made money no doubt, tons of it, some of it by trading oil with Iran. DU has had recent discourse regarding the relative innocence of not just Iran; but nations being able to trade their resources as they see fit, Venezuela and S. America in particular of late, and, presumably, the people they would be trading with i.e. they maybe even such as Marc Rich, or Russia, or China, but anyone cept America cause she can't do a damn thing right and especially not the Clinton's cause they suck! -- in either event, Rich played hardball in the hardball game of futures & commodities among other lucrative mechanisms. And in 1st & 3rd world countries that had no infrastructure' to speak of or had long since collapsed due to prolonged wars or ill-governance...

For which he was rewarded Kingly Sums, and assessed the American taxes as per. As a foreign born Jew, Rich has as well contributed to the state of Israel: her culture, her society, and her politicians. You can say that that is all image rehabilitation, but there it is. In that, along with other entities, through her Israeli Lobby, Israel was key in advocating the pardon of Marc Rich...isn't this round of 'concern' regarding Clinton's contribution a bit, again: myopic? Shouldn't such links expressing such myopic 'concerns' be forwarded to the Israeli Lobby, or Israel's Ambassador to the U.S.?

If we are friends with Israel and we are; shouldn't we be sitting down and asking her how she feels about Clinton & Holder pardoning a friend of hers?

Cause I'd really love to see the come-back on that exchange but I know this for certain: the world is bigger than the sum of it's parts. It's much bigger than even Bill & Hillary Clinton
