Of course I am reading until your post. Your opinion is being covertly expressed. That is partly what I am objecting to.

Do you mean to say that doing a parody, a broad generalized and derogatory representation of critics, could not possibly be seen as mocking and ridicule?

I believe that you may have intended it as good natured ribbing. Don't be surprised if it is not taken that way, though.

What do you think the reaction would be were someone to post something like this? Imagine the firestorm that would erupt -

Dear Obama -

Now that you are elected, we want you to know that in our eyes you can do no wrong!! Whatever you want to do, we will still stand behind you 100%! We think that all critics of anything you do should be silenced, and we will work hard on your behalf to stamp out all dissent. Either people are for you, or they are against you, and there is no middle ground.

All that talk on the campaign trail – bladidy blah, blah, blah, blah – about listening to the voice of We, The People, we knew that was just a con game to get people to vote for you. We don't expect you to actually listen to anyone. Why should you? You are the presumptive glorious leader. You have been selected, and now you are king. It is the duty of the people to get behind you and question nothing that you do.

Please pay no attention to the people before you start offering jobs. What value is MY opinion, or anyone else's about how you decided to staff the White House or anything else you do? Just go ahead and do everything as you see fit, and if people don't like that well then too bad for them. To us, your true loyal supporters, you are a God. You are the wise all-knowing one, and we will never question your judgment.
