4. Like I heard yesterday
Keep in mind, these networks paid megabucks for all these election gizmos for people like John King & Chuck Todd to use on election night.....and they need a return on investment on those toys. Talk of a landslide doesn't do that.

Also, when they've sold advertising time and to get these advertisers on board they promise them such and such ratings or else they'll make up any shortfall in ratings with free commercials in the future, which eats into inventory that could be paid for. A landslide doesn't help in terms of high ratings.
