He was, of course, but calling him that really called out the emperor on his "new coat". They've been flailing ever since, practically doing our work for us.

I kept on expecting McCain to get smart and start shooting for the center again. It would have kept Virginia, Indiana, and maybe Florida in his column--states I'm sure he'll lose now. Plus he would have lost with dignity. As it stands, he's losing much more than an election in a couple of weeks.
