I wrote this on another thread:

"As I make-up artist, I had to study what an assortment of facial injuries looked like, at various times after the victim received those injuries. I have seen some pretty black looking "black eyes", but not without some sort of swelling and/or redness in the white of the eye involved. There is ZERO swelling in her eye or cheek area -- ZERO Heck, even after rhinoplasty it is common for a patient to get truly black eyes, but there is still swelling."

What she has looks like "black eye 101" from a high school production.
