You have to really, REALLY feel sorry for Joe Wurzelbacher. He's being kicked around like a soccer ball all over the media, and having reporters after you all day can't be fun.

But, I think he was doing some grandstanding when he confronted Obama about the tax plan. He stands to gain from that plan and, as far as I know, was just speaking hypothetically about buying the plumbing company he works for. It looked a little bit like he was parroting right wing talk radio, even though right wing talk radio generally works against his own interests.

Just a question: does he deserve all this scrutiny? Did he ask for it, or should he be left alone?

Regardless, I'll bet he'd rather be unclogging toilets than dealing with the press.
