I am continually amazed by the constant denigration of knowledge, education, and accomplishment by these spokespeople for corporate America. I am old enough to remember when Reagan was hosting the GE Theater on television-which promoted "the peaceful atom". Then he took a job as host of "Death Valley Days". This was aptly named since it too turned out to be toxic and was pulled from the market. In college he pushed cigarettes. Like all good salesman he could rationalize away anything.
He was obviously just doing his sales pitch while president. Stand up to the marks and say your lines. I must come from a different planet where people are actually responsible for their actions-short and long term.
Growing up pretty much as a cowboy, I find this dumbing down of culture depressing. I have heard great Mozart played on an upright by a wood burning parlor stove, discussed philosophy around a kitchen table in a kitchen without running water. I have long believed that by dumbing down the working class it has made them easy to manipulate.
The only way to understand McCain the Moron is through the eyes of class. His crassness and meanness know no bounds. As an acolyte of the ruling class he will go to any extreme to to preserve the privilege of the wealthy to not be held accountable for any of their actions. For example, he shows no remorse at all over the million dead Iraqi men, women, and children his mistakes have caused. In short he is a sociopath and W. is a serial killer by Proxy.
