17. I'm sure we are just throwing out opinions but what are forums for? :P Here's mine:
In my opinion, this was neither good nor bad for dems or repubs. The main thing is it wasn't good for the American people, but it isn't over yet because I think there will still be a bailout. If there is no bailout, then we will be in for a rough ride. We can already expect inflation (from the fed's activities), but without the bailout banks will not have the ability to make loans to anyone. Without the loans that all businesses need for day-to-day operations, we will experience a shrinking economy and likely a prolonged recession. The good news is it may help the price of oil to fall since industry won't be using as much. The bad news is that is because the businesses aren't there to use it.

Now you'll just have to pick and choose an opinion that makes the most sense to you.
