I also like how she's a "large woman". Does that emphasize that she's intimidating, or are we to judge her character by her size?

I think the story could be enhanced by adding "large lesbian" or "large black woman" or "large bra-less woman" or "large woman wearing an Obama shirt tight as a sausage casing".....
I suggest the OP come back to us with a re-write.
