campaign, as it came in the last days of the primary campaign.

I'm surprised so many don't understand that distinction. Just because people like McAuliffe expected most Dems to not understand that distinction and complained loudly, doesn't mean he didn't know....he didn't care, as long as it turned Dems against the idea of ANY Democrat leading the party other than a Clinton. Hillary2008 played a HUGE part of why the Dem PARTY leaders loyal to Clintons undermined that election.
