But, paradoxically, that's another point that bugs hell out of me. When the Democrats were the minority, they didn't use those same blocking tactics as much as they should have.
Clearly, especially before '04, it would have been politically dangerous to take on the then popular President, but the ReThugs have had no problem SUPPORTING Bush in a minority role even though he's political poision now.
You know, I'm no politician. I really don't know how a lot of that nonsense in Washington REALLY works. I just feel like a lot of opportunities to stop this b.s. were missed.
