73. Downtown what? I live in Boone County
the most conservative county in the state, and work in Cincinnati which is even worse. I've never had a problem finding the NYT's-at the store or on line. I've noticed numerous Obama Biden bumper stickers on cars. McCain-not so much. While someone living in West Liberty or Hazard or Beattyville might have a problem finding the NYT's, the highly populated areas have access to the major newspapers.
