7. It doesn't matter what he "meant" to say
what matters is the way it's perceived by the viewers. And with the wall to wall coverage given to the swift boat fuckers against truth you can probably guess how a lot of people will perceive this. Remember "Perception is Reality" the Republicans understand this and exploit the hell out of it. Democrats need to figure it out fast.
