If she doesn't release the emails, it proves she's guilty of a crime and is hiding it. That's how the Republicans spin things against Democrats and that's exactly how Democrats should spin it against Palin. Run a few ads and send the ads to the media for them to talk about.

Obama's supporters needs to learn the Swiftboat method. Make very incindiery allegations in television ads and run the ads only a few times, but get the media to talk about them for free. The problem is, Democrats are afraid to start controversy. Republicans are not.
