and greatly increasing H1B visas. Why is this so hard to understand? My one and only point is that I care about your job/retirement/healthcare/general well-being as much as you care about mine. I just get the feeling that you (as well as most Californians,) seem to believe that outsourcing is a one-way street. Absolutely not. Out of work auto-workers can't afford expensive Californian wages. "Maybe we can all realize that Nationalism doesn't mean anything anymore" Indeed. I remind myself of this when I support privatizing Social Security, vote against UHC, etc. As you rightly say, nationalism has no place in the modern world, so why should I pay for your retirement or health-care?
