They keep telling me all politics is local -- and I commend you for your fine efforts to support your local reps as well as working for Obama. I always sigh in relief when I hit an entire household voting for Democrats. It seems here in NV, just because they're registered Dems doesn't necessarily guarantee they're in the bag.

On edit, I just looked at your profile and see you are in Fort Worth. I lived there for a year when I was in first grade -- in Benbrook. All I recall is playing in the red dirt and building forts out where new houses were going in. There was a river or some steady flow of water nearby, and I recall one day my older sister crossed a concrete barrier that water flowed over. I was so little, I wanted to follow her and even tried but almost fell in. Oh, the things we used to do!

I also lived in Houston for 10 years. :hi: from a fellow Texan at heart.
