Why is the race so close? Why can't Obama close the deal? These were the same questions asked during the primaries and people keep glossing over the truth.

It's about race. There's nothing he can do about it. He can't make himself white.

So here's the solution, and I and many of us have been saying this over and over again:

We have to make sure that TURNOUT among the young, new voters, blacks, Hispanics, Jews, etc...you know, the entire Democratic base including those disaffected Republicans and Independents, is HIGH.

If turnout is low or not high enough to offset the Bigot Vote, the we're doomed.

Bottom line: stop asking this stupid-ass question about Obama. We know what the real reason is. Now what are we going to do about it?

And, by the way, why can't JOHN MCCAIN close the deal?
