The Republicans desperately wanted, no, NEEDED, to change the dialogue of this race. It is the reason Palin was picked.

The Repukes thought that they could take the focus off McCain, and put Obama playing defense against Palin. They thought it would become a war of sound bites, and thus, a total and complete distraction away from the real issues of this race.

And, Obama is having none of it. And, now Hillary says that she isn't going after Palin either. She is going after McCain.

Obama sees right through them. He isn't giving them ANYTHING to run with...He is laser focused on McCain, and he is going to be relentless.

Palin will implode. Give it a week, maybe, two. She is the type of woman who I sure has made a LOT of enemies up in Alaska, and the National Enquirer Edwards team is on the ground. Obama doesn't need to touch it.

I have sometimes questioned his campaign strategy, but I think this is brilliant.

He avoided a HUGE landmine. And, now, it is HIS turn.

I can't WAIT to see the next move.

GOBAMA!!!!!!!!! :yourock:
