Thanks to Dean, the struggling Idaho Democratic Party had enough money to help win several key races in 2006, and it had the money to do grassroots community building. That had never happened before.

Dean kept true to his word, and the national party invested money into the state party, and thanks to that investment we elected a couple more democrats to the legislature because they had enough money to run an actual campaign.

That's how you turn Idaho blue. We keep getting a few more, and keep supporting the state party so that it can continue to do grassroots organizing.

If it wasn't for Dean's strategy - we wouldn't have had any of the successes we have recently had.
