104. Can't speak for anyone else, but for me it's not about
how "religious folk" are viewed, but how the OP views women. He says he wants pregnant women to be educated and counseled about abortion, and is incredibly vague about what this actually means. Would all women seeking an abortion be required to seek this counseling? What sort of education does he think would be valuable in these circumstances?

The most telling point for me is his assumption that women need to be educated about abortion. Despite the apocryphal stories right-wingers like to about women who didn't realize what they were doing, women don't make that choice lightly. It's a very personal decision, and the idea of some government funded group interfering in that decision is not acceptable.

You think it's a Spiffy Doodle idea? Then when you get pregnant, you can be counseled. In the meantime, stop trying to form coalitions around the uteruses of Democratic women.
