59. It's a trust issue.
If this was a Repuke, there would be NO way DU or any leftist group would trust them with that kind of power. Dems tend to trust Obama in general and take it into good faith that he would not abuse that power, but voters who were once supportive of Republican policies but got burned BAD by government intrusion are going to jump ship on this kind of issue and vote Bob Barr. And Greens never trusted EITHER establishment party; we need to talk them out of staying home on election day.

So, what kind of voters would rally around increased government intrusion and giving telcomms a pass on abusing our rights? Four xenophobic whackos in a bomb shelter? We can do without em.
