Astrologers often say that naysayers just don't know enough about astrology.

If someone doesn't know much about my field, I teach them. I know that the evidence is strong for the claims we make in our discipline, so I show people the evidence and help them to understand how we deduce conclusions from the evidence. Done properly, this can be really exciting.

But astrologers tend to run away from the chance to teach, and instead make snarky comments to people who already agree with them.
