133. He is the one. He is the one who is spearheading the change that the people want so badly.
He is the one who is changing how politics is played.

He is the one who has inspired millions of new voters to participate in their country's future.

He is the one who speaks to us as if we matter and as equals, as if we are the ones who can bring about the change, and we are.

He is the one. It could have been anyone, but they didn't step up to the plate. He did. It doesn't make him our savior, it doesn't make him a cult leader, it doesn't make him any more than a man willing to step up and take responsibility for what is happening in this country.

Paul Simon was interviewed long ago, not long after he made that album with the African music. He told a story about how when he spoke at Howard Univ. several AA students expressed resentment that he was the one who employed African music on his album, and shouldn't it have been an AA person to do that? He replied that he just happened to be the one who did it, no one else did.

I have never heard Obama speak of himself as a savior of the people, in fact, he's pretty much the only candidate that I made me aware of them using the word "we" instead of "I" when they spoke of how to change things. I have also not heard any of his supporters speak of him as a savior.

As to your show biz candidate comment, I don't need to tell you what that sounds like. And if it were true, would he have taken Liberman off to a corner of the Senate floor to have a word with him? Would he reject all that special interest money? Would he get the DNC to reject it on his second day as the nominee? I think not.

I hope you get over your resentment soon. It would me so much more helpful if you fight with us rather than feel the need to post empty criticism about OUR candidate.
