We did flight physicals. It's been some years ago, but I honestly can't remember one not showing up. Once in a blue moon they would reschedule. Those guys were nuts about flying. It was everything to them and keeping their flight status was a major priority.

I add that these were chinook, blackhawk and huey pilots.

I can't see it being that much different for jet pilots.
