That's important to remember - it's important not to waste the talents of some people on the VP slot. For instance, Edwards simply belongs at Attorney General, Biden would make a great Secretary of State, Richardson would be great for a cabinet position as well, etc. While in the mind of the general public the VP is seen as a major ticket-balancing thing or whatever, I think we should be sure not to waste the gifts of someone as brilliant as Edwards, Gore, etc on VP.
