Secretary of Agriculture Ann Venneman recently spoke at a farm show in NW Ohio, which is very, very Republican. The combination of being in a farm show in a Republican stronghold normally would draw huge crowds. Instead, the secretary of agriculture drew only a few hundred listeners. This, according to a farm reporter who has had a history of kissing Republican administrations' arses.

Even the Ohio farmers are not too excited about this administration in my observation.
