Roseanne featured this exploitation on her TV show way back in the 1980's.

Companies get tax breaks and state and local money to put their company with its jobs into a ceratin town or city - and then low and behold, when they come up with a better idea financially, they take off.

Our workers here don't even have the protections of 90 to 180 days before a layoff notice can take effect.
