People are sick of it. Sick to death of it. In the last primary, Dean and Gephardt went negative on each other and were soon goners. Kerry stayed positive and won the nomination. Granted, it's not a guarantee, because Edwards also didn't go negative, but it doesn't seem to have helped him this time or last time.

I'm watching, and a lot of people like me are watching for negativity. And he's done very well. His criticisms are on issues and policies where they ought to be. Not anything like Hillary's, "...not as far as I know." kind of talk.
