to me being a San Franciscan means you have something called "class" as my father used to say. I don't necessarily think it means "gay" unless you mean party mode gay.
SF has a long tradition of having many different sorts of persons having lived there. My City by the Bay has one hell of a history that goes far beyond being "gay" to it.
