... I can tell you that it's not a dumb criticism. Regardless of which state you are talking about, people don't like outsiders coming into their state and trying to influence the vote. People tend to take exception to that. If you say that someone is "one of you" they sure as hell better be.
I live in Burlington VT. Just across the lake from NY State and I'd be PISSED if someone tried to pass off a New Yorker as a Vermonter just to make a commercial. There are plenty of other PA voters... find one of them to insert into the commercial.
