Don't get me wrong I think Tavis is important to the black community but we need more action for our community not more forums. I think Tavis let his ego get the best of him on this one. Tavis getting his panties all in a bunch because Obama didn't attend the forum is a bunk. The man is running for president. Tavis wanted him to announce his run for office on his show and I can understand how Tavis might feel slighted but he needs to get over it already. As far as the hate mail well folks shouldn't be threatening people with bodily harm. I would hope that Tavis is not getting death threats but if he is getting told about himself then good. I feel that Tavis handled the whole situation as if he was a spoiled, jealous, drama queen. Get over it already.
