35. you might want to correct your post -- senator s do not make $1 million/year
Another in a long line of posts here on DU where posters shoot first and then ask questions. One might want to take a bit more care to actually understand what they are posting about before they embarass themselves by making a silly misstatement.
A congressional salary does NOT bring in $1 million/yr. The approx $1 million listed as Hillary's salary covers the entire period from 2000. The current Senate salary is $165,000. When HRC was first elected, a Senate salary was around $145,000.
