I guess I don't see the fundies flocking to Obama, even though he's pandered to them, and unlike Democrats, I don't see enough hardcore Republicans staying home or crossing over to make much difference -on the national level.

On the other hand, I do see a lot of fence sitters IRL who would might find "see, I am for change -I considered running against Bush" to be persuasive.

A difference of opinion, I guess as to what they'd likely do.
