Frankly, your remark illustrates our complaint about the whole gender issue. You assume it is a nonissue that ought to be ignored--who cares what the gender is?!--when in fact sexism is embedded into our culture and thinking whether we think we care about it or not. Much of the ire being drawn by Clinton is because of the double standard. By being in our faces and by doing the shit that all presidential candidates do, including O-Brama, she is being singled out for special villification because girls aren't supposed to act like that.

She's a serious candidate and is in this win and will use all lawful means available to do it. We would not be vilifying Edwards or any of the others for playing hard ball. But women are supposed to be deferential (i.e. lady-like) so she is a "bitch." (We already know what Tina Fey said about that.) So she gets hammer when O. gets a pass, she lies while O. errs, her experience is worthless while his lack of it is a virtue, she's destroying the party while O.'s horrid supporters (yes, he's responsible for that) are unifying us. Mostly, her effort to get democracy in FL is desperate and delusional while O. obvious inability to win in swing states should be overlooked.
