46. You know what? I don't shop at Walmart anymore...
primarily because I can't afford it any longer. Since they tried to go upscale to compete with Target, they are no longer the home of a true bargain. So, if I'm going to spend my money, I'll go to where my local regular folks merchandise local products. I go to the farmer's markets, the food coops, the local meat market, etc. I buy as much as I can from people who manufacture their own soaps and cleaning products. We very rarely buy new anything now in terms of durable goods, but buy from the secondary market or my husband repairs what we have. We sometimes barter goods and services. We keep dollars in the community. The real people of the nation need to vote their interests for a change and start providing markets for green and local products while they are at it.
