90. Lincoln
''Obama's eloquence is closer, actually, to Lincoln's than to MLK's,''
A relevant quote from Lincoln:
'You can fool some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time but you can't fool all of the people all of the time'
I can assure (other contributors) that I did not make use of a thesaurus, dictionary, or any external aid. Thanks anyway for the indirect (and unintended) compliment.
Another point. I am a regular Mass attender and I can only think of two occasions in the last 25 years where an officiating priest said anything politically objectionable. And believe me what they said was pretty tame compared to Rev Wright's outpourings. Both times I stood up and walked out.
