86. I don't consider it objectionable at all--I've said before, I have always
assumed black churches are safe, appropriate places for black people to vent about racial unfairness and other social issues. It's really none of my white business, and I don't care if Obama hears about "white arrogance" from his pastor--I don't worry that he secretly hates white people (like his own family, for example)--he doesn't say stuff like that, treat white people like that, write stuff like that, or legislate stuff like that. The proof is in the man. I'm just noting that Obama apparently wasn't there for the REAL goods, the totally crazy shit, on that particular day--that's got to take some air out of the RW/Hillbot balloon, who was hoping for wild stuff on that Newsmax church visit. Obama certainly knows his pastor says controversial things, but the hate-whitey angry-at-America stuff doesn't seem to have influenced his political career at all. That's why I doubt this will resonate, except for the people who weren't going to support him anyway.
