11. now that i've read the post
I've got to say that this business of analyzing everything that is said until it is torn to pieces, is ridiculous. My best example is that if you have true friends who are black or vice a versa, if they are good friends, they might say things to each other that would sound racist or at least troublesome, however they might not be, as I was always referred to as the blackest man in the group. many reasons for that, but actually legitimate, I don't remember any feelings getting hurt. Nowadays that kind of discourse is frowned upon, but my closest friend have been doing if t for so long we can't help ourself. We called it ranking. We did it in the military and brought it home. we all remember whose mother was so ugly ,she could stop a clock, or had to wear combat boots.I'm Italian, so I got to say brute a lot. MY point is that people should understand that to the members of the Carylye group we, everyone of us are black of N, or whatever word or designation they have for us, peon seem so 16th century. How about troublesome white darkys. When you are in the military with someone ,color of skin is less important then how fast the mFer can guard your back. and then of course you are 18 and those black girls are very tempting and when you shake hands it feels the same. Look I'll admit my job was easier because I was white, but I was a pretty good electrician and so was able to bring along some of my friends, and lo and behold they became pretty good at the job also. The 60s were fun like that, there was hope and a belief that if we worked hard, we could fix it all. Naive I know, but we tried. Now i"m almost out of the gamebut the new voters give me hope. My personal philosophy is far to the left, a study of American labor history will do that to you if it doesn't turn you into a outright marxist I guess my point is that we can, if given a chance get along, white black ,brown, yellow. and any other type. and oObama is trying to do that. I wish him luck and will keep an open mind. I am anHRC man, however I would be mighty proud to support him in the general. if we have to go to the mats, I'll be there. The 69s taught me one thing, there may be pain, but what is right is right, has to be the way to go. charged and hoping all these youngsters come out in the fall and to the right thing. They have mostly got this show rolling and now we hope that whenNOV> is upon us we will come out and vote in the important race. DO THE RIGHT THING.
