Someone using "dark days" (a phrase) doesn't mean they are making a racist remark, though I am not familiar with any such statements regarding Obama. "Periodically" is also a single word, with a particular meaning here. It has no reference to a woman's period, and it is ridiculous to say anyone using that word in relation to a woman is making a sexist remark. Calling such things biased is twisting the meaning of the words.

Also, Obama's camp spends very little time villifying biased attacks against Hillary. They have had to step in some, but honestly it hasn't come up that much.

I do think Clinton should have jumped stronger on Ferraro's remark than she did. She needed a much stronger statement against it. More in line with what Obama said about Power's "monster" comment. Hillary is quite capable of strong remarks (as evidenced with her "shame on you, Barack Obama" speech).
