7. IMO, the only considerable advantage the Convention will bring...
...for Kerry, is when he chooses his running mate. Of course, assuming he chooses wisely. He'll definitely receive a bump due to the coverage, but like said above, the blatant taking advantage of the 9/11 tragedy, in choosing NY for the RNC convention, will predictably have it's intended effect on a few.

Now, the debates are where we really shouldbe able to finish the * campaign. Of course, I emphasize "should," since the same "leave the poor man alone" sympathetic reaction to last week's stutterfest, seems to have worked in his favor, so who knows how it will go?
