The thing about Black folks, is that we are proud to be Black......just like other folks are proud of being what they are. Denying it and attempting to "whitewash" your identity would signal a level of "hiding" what you are, or trying to be a step above on the ladder.

Further, race really can't be that much of a quotient to any great extent if MLK's dream is to be made real.

He would have also changed his name long ago, if he wanted to deny who he was.
