I just compare her to Jean Shaheen. The state is politically very close to New Hampshire. (they both were red states that would have been won if not for Nader). I think the candidate needs the clear ability to present themselves with evidence as a bridge-builder and not a typical run of the mill tax-increasing dem. Someone like Penelas, who has been an extremely successful mayor, leading the state in job growth in a high job growth state.
